Join our program if you are a refugee and you live in Budapest. No matter if you have left the camp recently or you have already been living in Hungary for a longer time. If you need help to find your place in your new country, here we are.
What can we offer:
* a short but very intense program from the 1st of March till the 31st of August 2016
* individual assistance in job seeking, accommodation or residence permit related issues
* you can be part of a diverse community: meet others, meet locals!
* various community programs: cultural events, sport activities, outdoor programs etc.
* a place where you can share what you have: tell us your story, share your ideas, hold a dance / yoga/ sewing club for the others
* you can apply for a mentoring program: practice the language, emerge into the Hungarian culture and get companion in tricky situations with a friendly local person
* practice the language! our local volunteers offer language classes once a week
* improve your chances on the Hungarian labour market: participate in our job skills training where you can prepare for the job seeking, and try yourself in a job interview
* we can find you an internship / volunteer opportunity so that you can try yourself in a Hungarian workplace, you can get a picture about Hungarian working culture and can gain professional experience for your future progress
* we can help you to know more about the various institutions and systems (healthcare, work permit, residential issues etc.)
Our program is open for non-EU residents including refugees and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection and who feel that these kinds of services would be helpful for them to feel more at home in Hungary.
Participation is free of charge.
You will have the chance to know more about the services at our first talk when we will also give you the time frames so you know what to expect before you make your commitment.
